The Upper West Side is one of our favorite places, because, in many ways, it feels a little separate from the rest of Manhattan's craziness. Plus it's right by the Park, Columbus Circle, Lincoln Centre (where the fountains are) AND it houses Levain's, our favorite cookie bakery!

These photos were taken after Tom broke his ankle at a 'fun run' we did in Brooklyn. 6 weeks on crutches in a busy city was quite a feat (but the cookies and beer helped)!

Central Park is incredible in Autumn, but it can be hard to catch those few days when it's really at it's best and everything is just a sea of red and orange. These were taken probably a week or so before the park hit it's 'peak', but they are some of my favorite pictures nonetheless!

We go for brunch pretty much every weekend (Tom prefers the 'all-you-can-drink' kind with bottomless mimosas!). This place is one of our favorites and we often bring friends here when they come to visit. The reason? Mostly, 99 cent cocktails, great food, and a very cool jazz band that plays in the conservatory area where you eat! Plus this place is in the Lower East Side, which is an area you wouldn't typically visit, so it's great to show people a different side of New York!

After the wedding in France, we went to London and Yorkshire to visit more family and friends! This was our first visit back to London for quite a while and we really enjoyed all the changes that had been made around the city. We ended up having an extended stay in the UK whilst our visas were updated in our passports (which took much longer than we'd anticipated) but it was fantastic to have such a long, relaxing holiday before heading back to NY for work!
